"He’s out playing with his toys, hang on" I over heard her say, as a bodiless hand thrust the phone at me through the cracked door. Muffling the receiver I yelled in pointless defense, "This is gear. Toys are for children."

South Dakota Mtn. Lion Season Opens Jan 1 12/29/08
The 2009 mountain lion hunting season will begin on January 1st. The season will have two major changes, including licensed landowners being able to harvest lions on their own land outside the Black Hills Fire Protection District year round with the 2009 Mountain Lion license. [Comments?]

520 Lb Manitoba Black Bear Pastor Duane Vanderklok from Rapid City, Michigan took this 520 pound black bear - just over 7 feet- skull measured over 21 inches. Luck was on his side no doubt!
There was a sow on the bait and he came chasing after her. Perfect shot -- the bear went about 20 yards.
This is the second Booner taken this past spring in Manitoba with Hastings Bros. Outfitters.
